Management Committee

Our management committee is made up of parents/ members of the local community that volunteer their time to ensure the smooth operation and effective running of the preschool. We are passionate about making a difference and strive for continuous improvement to benefit the children in our setting.

Barham Preschool is a registered charity which is managed by a volunteer committee of trustees.
Our trustees are jointly responsible for the effective running of the preschool and have various roles and duties. We work closely with the Manager of the setting, who is in charge on a day-to-day basis. We maintain good relations and establish a flow of news and information in order to ensure the setting runs efficiently and meets the children’s needs.
Fundraising is a big part of our role as trustees. As a charity we work hard to plan and hold fundraising events and activities to raise invaluable funds for our preschool to directly benefit the children in our care. We are so grateful for all the support we receive from our families and businesses in the local community. You don’t have to become a trustee to get involved with fundraising we are grateful for any support , big or small!
